folio up to date

as of today [Nov 11] I have com pleated all 8 photos and they are being printed and mounted as we speak
I will post final photos as soon as I have faster internet.

Proposal two

After seeing everyones proposals last week Ive decided I needed to do something more "out there" and more true to my artistic side.
so I went back through my briefs and I became reacquainted with my displacement photo. [see below]



So I've decide to do negative and positive body image, useing the same lighting and the same "clinical" colour
so far I have done 2 shoots for this idea and have gotten a lot of feed back from the wider community for support of this idea, mainly about this photo...

there is about 100 more comments and I've gotten a lot of emails and friend request about this photo alone.

the 2nd photo I have done is about the negative image some women get about the size of their beasts and the need for them to be a certain shape or size.

Praposal

For my folio I chose the music brief.
at this point in time Ive done around 4-5 shoots that I could use but Im also undecided of what direction I'm taking.
Im thinking that I will chose 8 different song but focus on certain lyrics in the song, or just the song name.
how will I tie these all together?
I really love black and white, and last folio I did was in colour so Im challenging myself to do it all black and white.

Let me set the scene for you.

sitting in a dorm common room watching TV with the other dorm kids and the Vegemite ad comes on and everyone one starts to sing "we're happy little Vegemites as bright as bright can be..."

It made me think, wow.. we [Australians] tend to love our icons, even if its not continuously, we identify ourselves with our icons.

My concept is "the other side of the story" you need to look at it from the view point of "what if the jabberwocky that was killed had a family?".
